The DHSC has confirmed that the Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS) will continue in the 2025/26 financial year. This scheme helps care providers invest in their workforce by funding various training opportunities.
Updated guidance is now available on GOV.UK: Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS). It provides all the necessary details for care providers to access the scheme.
Since its launch in September 2024, many care providers have already accessed funding for learning and development, enabling their staff to acquire new skills, specialize in key areas, and gain recognition for their expertise. With the extension of LDSS funding into 2025/26, care providers can continue to benefit from these opportunities.
