They are keen to support improved collaboration across a range of networks nationally. The network has created safeguarding ‘curiosity’ resources that provide a cohesive and consistent approach to key aspects of safeguarding work.

Professional Curiosity is the ability and willingness to explore beyond the surface, question assumptions, and seek a deeper understanding of situations, particularly in professional settings. It involves being inquisitive, open-minded, and proactive in identifying potential risks, concerns, or opportunities.
At HCPA, we incorporate Professional Curiosity into many of our courses, particularly those focused on Safeguarding and Culture:- Safeguarding Manager Responsibilities, Safeguarding Champion and Care Culture Champion. By developing a deeper, more holistic understanding of the individuals in our care, we can ensure we provide the highest quality support in a way that truly aligns with their needs and preferences.
