HCPA are excited to be a key delivery partner in Hertfordshire’s Centre of Excellence for Training in Music and Dementia.
This program is a brilliant addition to HCPAs Dementia education offer to link therapeutic music skills to care staff and enhance dementia care.
Year 1 of the project will focus on Residential and Nursing Care leading to a focus on broader community services in year 2. First training cohorts will start July 2025.
A full program of details including the care service ‘accreditation’ process and criteria for pre-dementia knowledge will be released next month.
