The new Learning from Lives and Deaths LeDeR policy (2021) introduced reviewing the deaths of autistic people without a learning disability for the first time.

The LeDeR online notification system has now been updated, and deaths of adults with a clinical diagnosis of autism who died on or after 1st January 2022 can now be notified.  Please go to the LeDeR website – and you will find the updated information on the website on the ‘report a death’ page.

Deaths of adults who have a clinical diagnosis of autism will be able to be reviewed from February when the web platform is fully operational.
