we are sure that if you had signed up for this tender you will have been notified, so this email is just in case. This message is now on the provider portal about the Community Opportunities Tender.
In light of the current challenges we are all facing; the resources required to make appropriate preparations and ensuring that Hertfordshire’s most vulnerable people receive necessary care, Hertfordshire County Council – Adult Social Care will be suspending this procurement until further notice.
This means that the tender for the Community Opportunities framework that is currently live will pause and previously advertised closing dates for tender submissions will not apply. There are currently some outstanding clarifications that have been raised with the Council and these will be addressed when we re-start the procurement.
In the upcoming weeks the Council will primarily focus on working with providers to manage the current crisis.
Communication about when tenders will be reopened will be notified to you in the future.
The Council may have to extend current contracts beyond their current dates to allow for this delay in procurement. If you are not able to provide services beyond their current contract end date please get in touch with your contract manager asap.
