Cash Incentives for Hires from the Displaced Worker Pool
In a recent bid to boost employment of international care professionals who have, through no fault of their own, fallen victim to loss of visa, ERCAA will be offering £1,575 per hire (maximum of four hires per organisation) incentives. This funding is subject to the provider proving that the care professional came from the displaced worker pool, is in receipt of their certificate of sponsorship, and that they have been full-time employed for at least eight weeks in a care role.

Borderless App
Also, we’re happy to introduce the new application designed by Borderless and provided by the International Recruitment East Consortium of Councils to streamline and give you effortless control to make hires from the current pool of displaced international workers in your region.
The East of England Displaced Worker Platform is a digital service connecting displaced care workers with trusted social care providers across the region. The platform has been designed to support care providers and international recruits making recruitment safer, simpler and more effective. By removing barriers and ensuring verification on both sides, the platform helps providers fill urgent vacancies whilst giving displaced workers access to meaningful, stable employment in adult social care
Verified providers can join the platform, filter and search candidate profiles, and manage outreach through a secure dashboard. All worker profiles are pre-screened, giving providers confidence in their recruitment process. With a single click, providers can begin contact with candidates who meet their criteria, while also accessing guidance on sponsorship compliance.
