The NHS England (NHSE) Dementia policy team would like to highlight an opportunity to contribute to a national review of culturally adapted dementia care in England, commissioned by the NHS Race and Health Observatory and being led by the NHSE Strategy Unit.
The review is exploring how dementia services can better meet the needs of global majority communities, and the team is seeking insight from a range of professionals across the pathway, including commissioners, providers and wider system partners.
As part of this work, the Strategy Unit is inviting NHS staff and other professionals, including commissioners, to take part in online interviews exploring how dementia services can better meet the needs of global majority communities (i.e. people from Black, Asian and other ethnic minority backgrounds) .
If you are involved in the design, commissioning or delivery of dementia services, your practical insight would be hugely valuable.
A short expression of interest form for people to register their interest in taking part can be found here: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=slTDN7CF9UeyIge0jXdO4yHptc36YRdOr-RsxsTSUQlUNkdSQzhBM0M3SzhJNEZUT1IzNTFJVlM1RC4u.
The NHSE Strategy Unit is keen to hear from a range of roles across the dementia pathway (see LinkedIn post).
