We have been made aware by our partners at Essex County Council that colleagues at a Suffolk care provider were the victims of a scam.
The scammers claimed to be from the Home Office and sent an elaborate email containing a link for providers to click on to update the Sponsorship Management software (the Home Office software used by sponsors to manage their licences and applications). This is of particular concern for care providers who recruit internationally, using the Home Office approved software and of course will be targeted specifically.
As a general reminder please pay particular attention to any email purporting to be from the Home Office that contain a link for recipients to click on and check directly with the Home Office where possible.
