As part of a continuous improvement programme, there will be some changes to Capacity Tracker. These changes will take place on Wednesday 29th April 2026 – please note that the system will be unavailable between 3-6pm on that day to enable the planned upgrade to take place.  

Capacity Tracker Data – CQC Refresh

A CQC refresh will take place on Thursday 23rd April 2026. Providers expecting changes to be applied by the CQC (assessment ratings, services or regulated activity) should review their account following the update. If any anomalies are found, such as incorrect or missing new/transferred locations, please reach out directly to CQC for assistance.

Winter 25/26 Flu – Question Amendments

The Winter 25/26 Flu vaccination campaign is coming to an end. Questions regarding flu vaccinations will soon be removed from Capacity Tracker.

The respective changes will be seen in:

  • Provider update pages
  • Bulk template
  • Vaccination Report
  • API data feeds

Vaccination Report Removal

The Vaccination Report will be removed to reflect the withdrawal of the winter 25/26 flu question from Capacity Tracker.

An aggregate report of the removed flu data will be made available from the Capacity Tracker Resource Centre in May.

DSCR – Data reset and updated Suppliers

Providers should be aware that DSCR questions will be reset and the Supplier lists will be refreshed.  Communications issued to Providers from DHSC are available here. The DSCR Report will reflect the data reset and aggregate historical data will be made available from the Capacity Tracker Resource Centre in May.

Capacity Tracker – Email Update Link Amendment

Providers who use the update link within reminder emails to submit their monthly ASC Data Submission will soon see an amended process. When the change has taken place, users that click the link in the email to submit their information, will be taken to a new page where they must confirm that they want to reuse the existing information in the Provider Update page, and that nothing has changed. The button will be labelled ‘Confirm Information & Mark Compliant’ and when this is selected, a user’s submission will be saved.
