We would love you and your team to join our webinar to find out more about the Power of Music – Music in Herts Dementia Care programme, specifically designed to support Care Homes and now day opportunity services working with people living with dementia.

The Power of Music project aims to increase access to personalised and meaningful music experiences for people living with dementia by upskilling staff working in day services to become Dementia Music Champions.

The programme focuses on improving quality of life, engagement, and wellbeing by embedding music into everyday support and activity sessions. It encourages staff to consider each individual’s musical preferences, life history, and cultural background, ensuring music is used purposefully rather than passively.

Through a structured training programme, staff learn evidence‑based therapeutic music approaches that can be used in both group and one‑to‑one settings. Services that complete the programme will work towards Power of Music certification, demonstrating a commitment to high‑quality, person‑centred dementia support. Participating services will also receive a starter pack of music equipment to support delivery.
