Fully-funded courses are now available for all Health and Social Care professionals working and/or caring for someone living with Dementia

 

Facilitated by Hospice Educationalists and Admiral Nurses, the courses cover an overview of Dementia including overshadowing, communication, and meeting unmet needs and future planning.

Individual group sessions will cover:

  • Managing delirium
  • Meeting nutritional and hydration needs
  • Pain
  • Looking after yourself (including carers assessment)
  • Practical tips: personal care
  • Grief
