This is a Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) educational event for medical and social care professionals working with people and their carers with cancer and other terminal conditions.

This learning event will enhance the quality of health and social care provision and employ a mixture of novel and exciting learning methodology, encompassing both creative drama and group MDT experiential learning.

The professional participants will leave the event having been moved, stimulated and empowered to deliver person-centred care with a deeper level of empathy, care and understanding.

End of Life Learning Through Theatre Event Poster

The piece offers a profound insight into the emotional impact of cancer and other life-threatening conditions on the family of the patient. This provides an invaluable opportunity for healthcare professionals to deepen their understanding, and reflect on how they can most effectively support family and carers.

Most family members will struggle to effectively communicate their feelings to the healthcare professionals they are in contact with.
