There is new ‘Adult at Risk of Going Missing’ guidance available to print from Hertfordshire.gov.uk.
The guidance includes forms where important information about an individual can be pre-recorded to save time and reduce the chance of forgetting key facts in the event they go missing.
These forms can be completed by service users and/or their family/carer and must be kept in a safe place. Staff can support the forms completion, and raise awareness of the form where considered appropriate to do so.
Please make your staff and service users aware of these guidelines through any communication channels you have available.
