Hertfordshire Equipment Service (HES) is an integral part of Adult Care Services, providing medical equipment on behalf of the NHS and Hertfordshire County Council to eligible Hertfordshire residents.
The equipment provided by HES ranges from toileting, bathing and daily living aids to more complex equipment such as:
- Profiling Beds
- Mobile and Gantry Hoists
- Pressure Care Mattresses and Cushions
- Ramps, Risers and Rails
- Toileting, Bathing and Daily Living Equipment
As part of a pre-market engagement exercise, HES are seeking to understand whether care providers would be interested in accessing HES as a supplier for equipment that they are responsible for providing as part of their service delivery.
They are exploring the potential to offer care providers the opportunity to purchase equipment directly from HES at competitive rates. For serviceable equipment, they can also provide a comprehensive service and maintenance package, together with an out-of-hours support service available seven days a week.
The purpose of this engagement is to gauge market interest and help inform the development of any future service offer. Participation in this exercise does not form part of any procurement process and does not create any commitment on either side.
