HCPA’s SMILE team held their first pop-up cinema event on the 28th of October where guests were treated to a South Pacific themed event with fresh fruit, mocktails, and popcorn!
The pop-up cinema was very well received with plenty of positive feedback, with many showing great interest in future SMILE events; one lady who attended was thrilled with the event saying it was the first time she had been to a cinema in years! One couple enjoyed reminiscing about their engagement when they watched the original production of South Pacific at the theatre many years ago.
SMILE promotes social inclusion and provides engagement for adults across Hertfordshire through community events and classes.
