A fantastic afternoon was had wheelchair dancing at Redbourne village Hall with residents from B&M Care St Matthews and The Lodge who danced to a range of musical styles and eras from Frank Sinatra to Michael Jackson and Gotye!

The 6 week course is one of many projects from SMILE funded by HAFLS. The residents supported by staff and family members learn a range of wheelchair dancing styles including the waltz, samba & jive, instructors are trained by WDSA UK and can teach up to competition standard. Those who are not in wheelchairs can join in too!
If you are interested in wheelchair dancing for your service users, SMILE are able to offer classes at £65 per session.
