There is still time to claim funding from Skills for Care! 

Adult social care employers in England can now claim funding towards the cost of social care qualifications and non-accredited learning programmes completed between the 1st of January 2022 and the 31st of May 2023. Up to a maximum of £1,500 can be claimed per learner per funding year (April to March).

Follow these 2 easy steps to claim funding through WDF: 

  • Complete the Members Declaration Form to join our Partnership. The deadline for this is the 28th of February 2023 Please note no forms submitted after this date will be accepted. 
  • Update your ASC-WDS (Previously known as NMDS) The deadline for this is the 31st of March 2023. See below for guidance on how to complete this, alternatively you can call the help desk on 0113 241 0969.

The Adult Social Care Workforce Data Set, or ASC-WDS for short, is an easy-to-use online service that helps you manage your team and makes sure your voice is heard by the Government and other key sector decision-makers. Skills For Care have produced a brand new three-minute video which details the benefits of using ASC-WDS and how the data within the system can be used by the Government and other stakeholders to make informed decisions about the care sector.
