Scam Awareness Roadshows

Source: Hertfordshire County Council

Scam Awareness Roadshows are taking place in libraries across Hertfordshire in June and July. The roadshows are opportunities to learn more about doorstep, phone, and postal criminal cons and cheats as well as how to avoid them and how to report a scam and get help.

Advisors fromTrading Standards, Neighbourhood Watch, Age UK, or the local Police Community Safety officers are attending events to provide information. Topics include scam and junk mail, vitamin scams, and phone scams.

Any member of the community can visit their local library for free and learn trusted information and advice. All Hertfordshire Libraries will have helpful leaflet for local residents to pick up.
