The Hertfordshire Safeguarding Children Board (HSCB) and the Hertfordshire Safeguarding Adults Board (HSAB) will be launching the ‘See the Adult, See the Child’ Policy on Friday 15th June 2018 from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at Robertson House in Stevenage.
This guidance has been produced by HSCB and HSAB to ensure effective and timely referrals between all adult and children’s services, including the transition between children’s and adults’ services and to promote good practice in multi-agency working. This guidance respects an adult at risk’s right to live free from abuse with dignity, autonomy, privacy and equity.
The event will cover the outline of the new policy and it’s principles, how to put the policy into practice, and the importance of Think Family.
