This informative and fully funded half-day session is designed to improve your confidence when handling urgent care situations. During the engaging three-hour session, speakers from the East Ambulance Service and 111 team (run by Hertfordshire Urgent Care) will explain the processes and functions involved in their services and detail how they can help you in urgent situations.  

By joining this short session you will:

  • Have the opportunity to share your experiences of using the urgent care services to help build better relationships between providers and urgent response teams
  • Gain a better understanding of the Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation (SBAR) tool and how to use it in urgent situations
  • Improve your confidence and competence when handling an urgent care situation
  • Learn how the urgent care services can help and when it is most appropriate to use them
