This formulary created by Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, has been developed to assist any health care professional prescribing or requesting dressings for wound management in Hertfordshire. It aims to aid the decision making process and help choose the most appropriate product whilst ensuring value for money in the use of NHS resources.
The formulary is intended for all residential and nursing homes to use for best practice in wound management.
