HCPA are able to offer all of their residential home members the opportunity to advertise their bed vacancies Fully Funded of charge on the new website Herts Care Home Finder. Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s) now have access to the system to view and book vacancies through health and social care practitioners, bed finders and service solutions teams, who will be able to find vacancies in residential homes by a wide range of search criteria including postcode and type of care and facilities available. HCC have funded this initiative and their staff are fully committed to using the system. By the end of the summer we aim to have the system available to the general public online. Even if you do not have vacancies at the moment this is an excellent opportunity to register your home with the system and be prepared should vacancies occur and raise awareness of your home and facilities in the meantime.
