Care Quality Commission (CQC) have updated their factual accuracy guidance for inspectors, providing increased clarity and explanation. Factual accuracy is the opportunity for providers to challenge the accuracy and completeness of the evidence on which the CQC ratings are based. Changes include an update of the form you as a social care service will receive with the draft report which CQC is recommending you use as this will help your comments to be processed more efficiently. CQC will continue to review their handbooks for providers as part of their current approach to inspections.
