Following the recent Pre–Procurement Market Engagement events (PPME’s), the following tender is about to become live:
Herts County Council, working with both Herts Clinical Commissioning Groups, is planning to re-provision beds that are currently used for enablement, intermediate care and non weight-bearing, under a new model called ‘Integrated Rehabilitation Beds’. There will be around 50-60 of these beds required across the county and they will be allocated in blocks of around 10.
The tender for the Integrated Rehabilitation Beds is now expected to go live in the week commencing 29th August. This is to ensure the documents are as clear and complete as possible. HCC will shorten their timetable for evaluation so that the successful bidders will still have the planned mobilisation period to be ready to go live on the first of April 2017. The tender will be available through www.supplyhertfordshire.uk so make sure you visit the site and register now.
This will be an exciting opportunity for homes to broaden the range of services they offer, enhance staff satisfaction and skills, and secure a block funded contract.
