If your organisation currently provides jointly commissioned HCC/CCG beds, HCC would like to draw your attention to the information below and to the Pre-Procurement Market Engagement Document.
HCC are working with both Hertfordshire CCGs to tender for a new care home bed model: Integrated Rehabilitation Beds. This will replace a variety of current models such as intermediate care, enablement, stepdown, non-weight-bearing and discharge to assess.
A tender opportunity is expected to be placed during August on www.supplyhertfordshire.uk and the new model is expected to commence from the 1st April 2017. The tender is expected to ask for several care homes to offer 8-10 beds with a flexible level of therapy input depending on each individual’s needs.

Care home providers are invited to a workshop to hear more about the proposal and give their feedback. The same workshop will be repeated on each side of the county from midday to 4 pm.
