HCPA are able to offer all of our residential care home members the opportunity to advertise their bed vacancies Fully Funded of charge online using the new Herts Care Home Finder service. Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) and Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCG’s) now have access to the system to view and book vacancies through health and social care practitioners, bed finders and service solutions teams, who will be able to find vacancies in residential homes by a wide range of search criteria including postcode and type of care and facilities available. HCC have funded this initiative and their staff are fully committed to using the system. We also aim to have the system available for general public use by the end of 2016 so it will be great for filling private beds, too. Even if you do not have vacancies at the moment, this is an excellent opportunity to register your home with the system and be prepared should bed vacancies occur and to raise awareness of your home and facilities in the meantime.
