The ABC programme offers a combination of face-to-face training and eLearning, based on six End of Life care modules. These funded workshops are part of East & North Herts CCG Better Care for Care Home Residents Vanguard Programme
Target Audience: Care Home and Residential Staff across East & North Hertfordshire
Aim: To learn the End of Life care principles and consider how they apply to your workplace
Content of the Course:
- Core Modules: Overarching principles, assessment and care planning, comfort and well-being, communication skills, advance care planning, end of life tools, care in the last days of life
- Additional education and resources available
- How to use quality, audit and evaluation documents to monitor and measure your care
- By attending this course staff have the opportunity to use towards Skills for Care End of Life Qualification
What does it cost? Training is delivered Fully Funded of charge
Where: At your place of work. Hospice qualified educators will come to you at a mutually convenient time.
