The End of Life Care Core Skills Education and Training Framework is now available to download for anyone working in adult health and social care, as well members of the public.
The framework outlines the knowledge and skills required to deliver good quality end of life care, along with the transferable skills which can suit different care settings and level of care responsibilities.
The aim of the framework is to promote community development and asset-based approaches to education and training, and looks at the strengths, abilities and potential of communities in supporting end of life care.
Additionally, for care providers who are responsible for delivering care to people living with Dementia, our next Dementia Advanced Champion Pathway is accepting bookings on 1st April 2017, with the course due to start 3rd July 2017.
The Dementia Advanced Champion Pathway is based on the HCC Dementia Accreditation and is designed to cover all areas of dementia training, which can then be cascaded down throughout your organisation.
Each Champion will gain a Level 3 award in Education and Training, and the Level 3 unit in Dementia Awareness.
