At the end of last year, NICE sent out the following message to inform homecare providers that the NG21 homecare guideline will not be updated. Please read below for the full message from NICE regarding this decision:
Dear Colleague,
RE: NICE guideline on NG21 Home care: delivering personal care and practical support to older people living in their own homes
I am writing to let you know that, after considering the evidence and consulting with experts, we have decided not to update this guideline. Information about the decision has been published on our website.
We would like to thank you for your continued support and your interest in NICE guidelines.
