In our May newsletter we wrote about the LeDeR Programme. The LeDeR is a NHS England directive whereby a review is conducted when a person with a learning disability dies. The review also takes into account feedback from the individual’s parent or carer.

The programme aims to identify themes and address practice as well as identify good practice in order to reduce health inequalities. If you are made aware or know of a person with a learning disability who dies please inform the LeDeR Programme office on: 0300 7774 774.

If you require any further information about the programme please contact Tracey Brennan, Local Area Contact for Hertfordshire, on Tracey.brennan@hertfordshire.gov.uk.
