Hertfordshire County Council has announced that bids are now invited for community opportunities and day activities grants.

The deadline for bids is Monday, 23rd March 2020.

Successful bidders will receive funding from 1st July 2020.

Voluntary organisations of any size can apply for grants for services and activities, which benefit older people and adults with disabilities.

The Community Opportunity & Day Activities Fund is funded by Adult Care Services (ACS) Older People and Adults With Disabilities commissioners and managed by Hertfordshire Community Foundation (HCF).

Grants are available for running costs for services and activities focusing on the Connected Lives approach, which will help build community resilience including addressing loneliness and preventing or reducing referrals to statutory services.

Applications are welcomed from voluntary sector groups running lunch clubs, day services, group activities, one-to-one support to access the community and employment and those delivering services in rural areas.

HCF will be holding face-to-face advice sessions for those who want to talk about their plans before they apply. Get in touch on 01707 251 351 to book your place.
