The Advanced Health Pathway is being opened up to non-Complex Care Residential and Nursing homes for the first time.
This training we be fully funded for Residential and Nursing homes across all of Hertfordshire from the 14th September.
The Advanced Health Champion will gain a Level 3 Qualification in Delivering training, as well as learning how to mentor and coach staff. This will allow them to cascade there new knowledge back to all staff within their service. The Health Champions will gain additional knowledge in respiratory conditions, neurological conditions, continence and stoma care.
Running alongside the course, the champion will complete a qualification unit in Contribute to Raising Awareness of Health Issues Level 3, which will involve observation in the workplace. Click here to see the full flow of the pathway.
