EU Settlement Scheme is fully live with over 750,000 applications made to the Scheme
The government has assured that everything is being done to ensure all EEA and Swiss citizens and their family members living in the UK are aware of the Scheme, what it is, why it is in place, and how they can apply.
To ensure all vulnerable or at-risk EEA and Swiss citizens and their families are supported when obtaining a status which is a critical objective of the Scheme, the government has made £9 million available for community-based organisations, such as charities and voluntary organisations across the UK, to reach and support individuals who require extra support to apply.
Practical support is available for a range of needs including disabled people, those with severe mental health conditions, victims of human trafficking or domestic abuse, those without a permanent address and those who are elderly or isolated.
The government has ensured that each organisation has passed a rigorous moderation and evaluation process to assure that through harnessing their expertise and strong local links, community-based organisations will reach the most vulnerable and at-risk EEA and Swiss citizens, and their family members in our communities.
The 57 organisations are located across the UK to ensure services are available to those who most need it. This list is available on GOV.UK.
