CQC were recently asked to confirm the process for notifying them of the death of a person using a service.

You must notify CQC if the person’s death:

  • took place while a regulated activity was being provided; or
  • may have been a result of the regulated activity or how it was provided.

 

You must notify CQC of the death without delay. Further information can be found on their website.
