1.5 hour Webinar via MS Teams!

Join us for this essential webinar, led by Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board, aimed at improving safety and quality of care by preventing urinary tract infections (UTIs) and enhancing catheter care across the system.

This session will highlight the role of catheter passports in supporting communication, documentation, and timely catheter reviews, helping to reduce infection risk. We will also share local insights from the To Dip or Not To Dip (TDONTD) survey exploring current practice around urine dipstick use and identifying opportunities for safer UTI diagnosis.

Attendees will gain valuable knowledge on effective UTI prevention strategies, local healthcare associated infections (HCAIs) surveillance data from care settings and practical actions to help reduce catheter-associated urinary tract infections (CAUTIs)

Attendees will learn about the risks, prevention strategies, roles, and responsibilities and how the use of catheter passports can reduce infection rates through better documentation and timely catheter reviews.
