Our five-day leadership programme (formerly known as Succession Planning Stage 2 – Continuing Professional Development) is designed for managers with 2+ years’ experience, multi-site or regional managers, directors and business owners in adult social care.
Gain insights into the distinctions between management and leadership, discover the TEAMology Tool, and build awareness of how your personal leadership style influences others. Develop a clear vision of what success looks like, organisational goals, enhance team performance and drive sustainable, system-level improvements. Key focus areas include strategic planning, values-led leadership, building high-performing teams, navigating change, and developing robust recruitment and retention strategies. Participants will gain the insight and capability to lead with clarity, influence, and long-term impact:

Attending in person will benefit from valuable networking, peer collaboration, and the chance to form buddy and mentoring relationships for ongoing support beyond the course. These sessions spark spontaneous collaboration, deeper insights and sharing best practice through real-time interaction.
The programme also includes learner-led optional follow up sessions with the tutor at 3 months and 6 months, providing continued support and accountability as you apply your learning in the real world.
