This course is designed for managers and team leaders who are looking to drive positive change within their adult social care settings. Participants will learn how to create, implement, and evaluate improvement action plans that deliver measurable results and align with organisational objectives. Through practical exercises and real-world examples, attendees will gain the skills to identify areas for improvement and develop SMART objectives (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound). The course will also cover strategies for securing leadership support, assigning responsibilities, and effectively managing progress to ensure successful outcomes.

This interactive session is ideal for those seeking to foster a culture of continuous improvement, enhance team performance, and contribute to the overall success of their organisation.

Entry Requirements: Learners must be in a management or team leader role to attend this course.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe how to develop an improvement action plan with SMART objectives, clear tasks, and realistic timeframes.
  • Identify areas for improvement and align action plans with organisational goals to gain leadership support.
  • Explain how to implement and manage action plans by assigning responsibilities and tracking progress.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the action plan by analysing results and making necessary adjustments.
