This course equips managers and team leaders with the skills and knowledge to conduct formal workplace observations that align with organisational standards and best practices. Effective observation and feedback are essential for ensuring staff meet competency requirements and continuously improve their performance.
Participants will explore the principles of formal observation, including how to identify key competencies relevant to their roles. The course provides practical guidance on setting up and conducting structured, competency-based observations, ensuring a fair and consistent approach. In addition, attendees will learn how to provide constructive feedback that fosters professional development and supports staff in achieving their full potential.
Entry Requirements: Learners must be in a management role to attend this course.
