Course Overview
This course equips you with the essential skills and knowledge to assess your organisation’s Data Security practices and ensure compliance with GDPR regulations. Gain a clear understanding of what your organisation must implement to meet CQC inspections, specifically Governance Quality Statement within Well-Led Key Question. Learn how to adopt best practices for the use of Digital Technology and how best to prevent Cyber Attacks. All workplace assignments (agreed during the course) will need to be completed. Attendees will be supported after the course had completed.
This course is aligned with the Workforce Development Pathway under:
• Care or Support Worker – Established in their role with consolidated skills and experience
• Enhanced Care Worker – Delegated healthcare activities and/or condition-specific support
Learning objectives:
• Understand Data Security & Protection Law and Legislation.
• Understand the requirements for GDPR compliance and CQC inspections
• Understand Person centred digital care and support, including the ethical use of technology
• Understand the use of AI in the Care Sector
• Understand how to support your organisation
• Understand how to promote Data Security and Digital working in the workplace.
