The programme is designed as a continuous development journey, with learning and workplace improvement activity building across each module. A certificate of completion will only be issued to learners who participate in all five modules.

From Good to Excellent

A five-day leadership and improvement programme for adult social care leaders who want to make meaningful, measurable improvements within their service.
This practical programme supports leaders to move beyond identifying what could be better and develop the skills, confidence and structure to lead real change in the workplace.
Combining change leadership, TEAMology and the Skills for Care Leading Change Improving Care approach, learners will identify an improvement opportunity within their own service and develop it into a structured workplace innovation project.
Across the five days, learners will explore how to engage colleagues, manage resistance, use feedback and evidence effectively, and evaluate whether change is achieving the intended impact. The focus is not simply on what has changed, but the difference that change has made.
By the end of the programme, learners will have developed practical evidence of leadership, innovation and continuous improvement that can contribute to their service’s wider quality assurance and improvement activity.
