This enhanced leadership programme is designed to strengthen leadership capability, accountability and decision making across care home management teams. It supports both Deputy Managers and Registered Managers to move beyond task focused management and lead with confidence, professionalism and clear accountability, creating well led, high performing services.
Through interactive learning, real life care home scenarios and practical leadership tools, the programme reinforces the importance of clear leadership roles, effective delegation and reflective practice. Participants develop the skills needed to lead people, manage performance fairly, maintain professional boundaries and drive continuous improvement, while remaining aligned with regulatory expectations and best practice.

Programme objectives
Participants will:

• Strengthen professional boundaries while remaining approachable
• Build and lead high quality, accountable teams
• Delegate effectively and enable others to work to their strengths

• Use root cause analysis to move beyond blame and improve systems
• Set clear expectations and manage performance consistently and fairly
• Support leadership development and succession planning within teams

As HCPA hold the Quality Assured Learning Service (QACLS) benchmark, you can confidently book this programme, knowing the training is of an exceptionally high standard and will provide you with the vital skills needed to successfully lead.

Learners are expected to attend each of the learning and development modules that make up the programme and will only be able to receive a certificate of completion if they have participated in all modules. Delegates who withdraw or do not complete will not be refunded and won’t be able to claim reimbursement through the LDSS. Cancellation charges apply. Delegates who are late may not be admitted into the training and costs incurred.
