Medication management is one of the most important areas of safety and compliance in adult social care, including both homecare and care home services. This informative webinar will help providers understand how to strengthen medicines governance, improve records, reduce avoidable errors and prepare stronger evidence for inspection and internal quality assurance.
Delivered in partnership with system partners and local authority monitoring as well as HCPA Strategic partners Camascope and TRIB-1 Medicare, the session will combine compliance insight, practical provider guidance and digital solutions to support safer, more effective medicines management across adult social care services.
Learning Outcomes:
* Understand the key medicines management risks that can affect safety, quality and compliance in homecare, care homes and wider adult social care services.
* Recognise what good medicines governance looks like from a provider and CQC readiness perspective across different service types.
* Identify practical steps to improve medicine administration records, audit trails and incident learning.
* Consider how digital medication systems can support safer, more consistent practice.
* Understand how effective partnership working with pharmacies, clinical partners and technology providers can reduce risk.
