What is an Engagement Award?

The HCPA Engagement Awards recognise care organisations that actively engage with HCPA, invest in leadership development and use available support to strengthen quality across their service. 

Separate from HCPA membership and achievable at any time, the awards provide a clear, tangible way for providers to demonstrate their commitment to learning, improvement and high-quality care. 

Award holders receive an official logo and are featured on a live list on the HCPA website, giving commissioners, families and prospective staff visible proof of their commitment to excellence. 

Gold builds on Silver by recognising providers that can demonstrate a GOOD overall inspection rating, along with completion of HCPA provider surveys that support feedback, benchmarking and continuous improvement. 

To achieve Gold, providers will have: 

Already achieved Silver Engagement Award, have received positive inspection result (LA/CQC), undertaken staff training survey, impartial feedback survey and culture survey.

Silver recognises providers whose staff complete selected leadership learning and actively use and promote the Care Professional Academy as part of their commitment to workforce development. 

To achieve Silver, providers will have: 

Engaged with HCPA, by way of attending leadership education and actively using and promoting the Care Professional Academy.
