One day course at HCPA
This course for managers and professionals responsible for overseeing safeguarding practices within their organisation, provides a comprehensive understanding of the key responsibilities of safeguarding for managers in protecting adults at risk of abuse or neglect.
Delegates will explore the impact of current legislation, learn how to respond effectively to suspected or alleged abuse, and develop skills for collaborative working across agencies. The course also emphasises the importance of supporting colleagues in safeguarding processes, ensuring a proactive and informed approach to protecting vulnerable adults.
Learning objectives:
• Understand the impact of current legislation for the safeguarding of adults at risk of abuse or neglect
• Understand how to respond to suspected or alleged abuse
• Understand how to participate in inter-agency, joint or integrated working in order to protect vulnerable adults
• Understand how to support others in safeguarding
