Half day virtual course via MS Teams
This course aims to provide attendees an introduction to rare dementia. This will include a brief overview of some rare types of dementia and what impact these dementias may have on how you support and care for someone living with one of these types of Dementia.

Learning objectives:
• To raise awareness of rare dementias
• To have a basic understanding of a range of different rare dementias
• To understand the impact of these dementias on an individual and their families
• To be aware of the unique needs of people living with a rare dementia
• To increase knowledge in how best to provide care and support for individuals with a rare dementa
• To be aware of where to go for further advice and support
