About us

Hello…

We’re Hertfordshire Care Providers Association (HCPA) and we are creating a county where all adults who receive care are given a service of true quality, personalised to their needs.

Training

We manage over £3 million on behalf of the government, the local authority, the NHS and other funding agencies for adult social care training courses and qualifications for our members.

Services

Whether it’s recruitment or insurance, fully funded eye tests or HR, or anything in between, we offer support to our members with a host of low cost or fully funded services.

Support

We’re here to help care providers any way we can, whether it’s an answer to a quick question, on-going support, safeguarding advice, specialist toolkits or leadership coaching.

Sharing best practice in care through partnership

Our vision is to create a county where all adults who receive care are given a service of true quality, which is both personalised and individually tailored to their needs.

Our Story

At HCPA everything we do is centred on helping Hertfordshire adult care providers to raise their standards of quality by offering fully funded training, network events and study days, low cost or fully funded business services, advice and tailored support.

We manage over £3 million of funding for adult social care training courses and qualifications for our members on behalf of the government, the local authority, the NHS, and other funding agencies. We offer a broad range of training and qualifications to enable private, voluntary and independent care providers, at all levels of their career, to keep up-to-date with local and national initiatives and continually improve their knowledge and skills.

A key part of our role is to act as a collective voice for Hertfordshire care providers. We listen to feedback from our members and work closely with our partners at Hertfordshire County Council (HCC), Care Quality Commission (CQC), NHS Integrated Care System & Board, Skills for Care and other public bodies, to help make positive changes in the Herts adult social care sector.

Who can be a member of HCPA?

Anyone who provides adult social care in Hertfordshire can join us as a member and benefit from our training, services and support.

We offer Standard, Silver or Gold membership, as well as Associate and Affiliate membership status to those who are not based in Hertfordshire but would like to access some of the benefits HCPA membership brings.
