Through our HCPA volunteer coordination centre, we still have many people available that would be happy to assist your organisation by volunteering. There are many roles that a volunteer could fit into for you, hassle free. These fall into the following categories:
- One-to-one – roles that provide one-to-one support for individuals
- Practical support – roles that provide practical support for individuals
- Transport – roles that involve transporting or supporting the transport of people to a destination
- Organisational support – roles that support the running of the organisation
- Activity – roles that provide digital activity or other activity whilst observing social distancing
The most popular reason that care providers have been utilising volunteers are: Helping at mealtimes, collecting medication and going shopping.
