People with learning disabilities die an average of 17 years younger than the rest of the population and delayed diagnosis is a significant contributing factor.

With this in mind, it is important that everyone checks their breasts and testicles regularly and for vulnerable adults this should be included in a service user’s care plan.

Help to embed these checks as standard practice for supporting people with learning disabilities by sharing and reviewing the newly developed breast and testicle information pack (designed specifically with service users with learning disabilities in mind).
