Following the recent change in guidance to asymptomatic COVID-19 testing in health and social care we have had several queries and concerns regarding mask wearing.

We would like to remind you that the guidance on the use of masks and all other IPC measures within social care settings has not changed, and masks must still be worn in all social care settings.

The current guidance on COVID-19 and the use of PPE in adult care settings can be found here.

The updated guidance on COVID-19 testing in adult care services can be found here.

It is essential that masks are still worn by all staff and visitors. We encourage you to download the poster here to remind everyone that masks are still essential.
