Safeguarding and Risk Management for Managers
Spaces are still available for the next Member’s Network Event, which is due to take place on Wednesday 20th June at Shendish Manor Hotel in Hemel Hempstead.
The event will focus on safeguarding and risk management updates for managers, with speakers covering a range of topics, from hydration, nutrition, and falls, to safeguarding issues highlighted in recent news reports, including LGBTQI rights.
All attendees will receive a CPD certificate to show you have attended a Safeguarding refresher half day conference for managers.
Just as last time, the event will now run between 10am – 1pm, with lunch provided at the end to give you a chance to chat and network with other providers and stall holders.
The Learning Disabilities Support Providers forum will be extended to two hours at this event to include an engagement / consultation session hosted by Herts County Council. This forum is open to all Learning Disability providers who are HCPA members and will run between 2pm – 4pm.
Refreshments and parking will be available, and as always, we ask that you arrive between 9.30am – 10am for registration so we can start promptly at 10am.
The event is fully funded by HCC and therefore completely free to attend – book your place now to avoid disappointment.
